There will be a number of events at the gardens, which will be announced closer to the time.

Gardens in the 2024 Trail, on 24th & 25th February will be open from 10am - 3pm each day.

Garden entry is $2/garden. People under the age of 18 are free. This is a cash only event.

The garden trail is set in the Eastern Bays area. Gardens are located in the following suburbs: Orakei, Meadowbank, St Johns, Glen Innes, Wai-O-Taki Bay, Glendowie & St Heliers. The addresses will be added and a map provided, a week before the event.

The gardens are not wheelchair, pushchair or mobility scooter friendly.

There are no public toilets at any of the gardens, but you can find public toilets on the trail. We will provide a Trail map, including the location of public toilets, a week before the event.

Other than service dogs, no animals will be permitted into the gardens.

Keep yourself safe and know your limitations, so please:

– Read the H&S poster at each garden for notice of any slippery paths etc

– Acknowledge any roped off areas and respect them

– Wear sunscreen, a hat, appropriate clothing and footwear, and bring a bottle of water

– Be aware of any bee allergies as some sites host bees

– Listen to the stewards if they point out any potential hazards
